BLASTICIDINR VECTORS
Several vectors carrying a blasticidin-resistance gene are readily available within the scientific community (i.e. pPAC4).
Vectors or constructs using blasticidin-resistance genes are now commercially available :
- pBLAST, pUNO, pDUO, pMOD-bsr from InvivoGen.
InvivoGen is the only supplier of an engineered bsr gene where most (10 out of 14) CpG motifs have been removed and codon usage has been optimized for mammals.
- pIB & pCDNA6 series (and others) from Invitrogen.
